Have a 941B that's been sitting in my yard for about 5 years.
Got it fired up last week to sell it and found it's got "a few" leaks. Cylinders as expected, but it's leaking I trans oil from somewhere I can't tell.
I don't have a book for this unit otherwise I'd take some time to read up a bit. Rather not drop the $$ on one since it's not staying around.
From what I can figure the converter is separate of the trans? There's a dipstick and fill under the footplate and also another under the seat. The footplate one is going low. Have in mind one is convertor and other is trans?
It's leaking while sitting and while moving. Seems like a fair bit, but it's still showing on the dipstick from filling it a week ago.
The belly plates haven't been pulled in forever, I'm wondering if maybe a line has rotted... assuming the converter would go to a cooler of some sort?
Trying to not get into the machine too much (time isn't something I've got a ton of... and don't want to it turn into a "while I'm at it" and 2 weeks later I'm elbows deep in it still. Don't expect I'd be able to recoup my time and materials.
