Question i have is what can i do when i have the short hard line that goes on head end of lift cylinder that is busted (kinked hard then cracked) and unavailable is there a specific set of the line retainers i can order, and just go straight to the cylinder with the new and longer rubber line?

Can you show some pics. of the line and cylinder? I welded a new piece of pipe into the socket weld fitting on a Hitachi excavator cylinder because the original cracked. Can't remember what we did on the other end but shouldn't be hard to flare or match the right fitting for the hose connection. They might make weld on fittings. If it is a socket weld be sure to insert it all the way and put a mark on it where it's flush. Then back it out 1/8-5/32" to allow for expansion from welding. Welding it with it all the way in could cause the fitting or pipe to split open.
