20220526_151400.jpg20220524_171837.jpgI bought a M100 Allis Chamler grader and are trying to figure out what happened to the worm gear. Everything worked, but when going in reverse the left blade height control must not been going back to the middle neutral position and lifted all the way to the stop point (see picture). I am afraid that the worm gear got stripped in the process. From the cab out, the worm gear can be seen moving, going down the shaft however does not move. Trying to understand how to take this even apart. Can somebody provide some tips?
