hi i have a cat ap555f paver that is throwing a code for left side height sensor,i made an extension harness to rule that out but still comes up with the code is there something i should be looking for?

If you post some details of both the machine Serial Number and Code Number I can probably find a troubleshooting procedure.

Thank you. And the number of the Diagnostic Code that you have.?
EDIT: See the attached procedure. Is this what you are looking for.? It will require a DMM capable of measuring duty cycle to do the tests because the height sensor output signal is the PWM type.
