Never seen a ringer on a barge before.

That should make a lever puller drool like a starving dog next to a freshly loaded barbecue.

I think 36ft is to small, more like 60ft.

In Holland we do have 2 Manitowoc ringers on barge, 1x 36ft and 1x 4100W ringer.

At the moment a 60ft ringer from Titan Salvage is working near our coast, 20 miles on sea... to salvage a ship.

it is just a steel tube of 5 mtr wide, and will be partly penetrated in the seabed, the rest is always under water. and it's not just steel but some special steel, they will have to last for at least 25-30 years. But after the installation of the monopile a transition piece (the one where the actual tower will be bolted onto, and with a platform for acces, and boatlandings with ladders etc...) will be grouted onto the monopile, and that one is well-painted, because that's the one that can rust because of seawater and oxygen. So all of the monopile is covered by mud, water or grout...

This TP is only a little wider than the monopile. On the bottom of the TP is a very thick rubber seal, that closes the gap between MP and TP. When the TP is in the final position (supported by steel frames inside the TP that rest on the MP) the space between MP and TP will be filled up by grout for a permanent fit...

thanks for the reply, looks like the barge with the blue crane puts in the MP and the barge in these last pics is set up to assemble the mast, generator, and blades. What are those white generator masts made of, carbon fibre? Anyway looks like a nice calm day out there to be doing that work.
