I'm doing some piddling on my rig, a 1965 crane Carrier of a truck of some sorts. When I changed the engine I did change the air system on it from 1 tank to 2 tanks. They are just hooked together.

Other air devices are a air compressor and governor, and a air dryer. Air system just goes from compressor to dryer to tank. Is there any check valves needed in between these? Anything else should be done? It works rather well except it sometimes leaks air at the compressor/governor when shut off. Thanks!
