bobcat 543 oil??

anyone knows what oil type is suitable for the chain of the bobcat 543 skidsteer?? some say go with valvoline some others insist SAE 30 oil...we are just confused

Of course Bobcat recommends using their oil, the hydraulic/hydrostatic stuff, which is similar to 10w30 or 10w40 engine oil. It only lubes the chains and axle bearings, which are low speed, so any oil should work, as long as it is clean...no water in it.
