I have a leaking boom cylinder and can’t get the boom up far enough to get lock position. It’s a 1984 model. Does it have the boom store position with levers? All new to me. Thanks

Hehehe, you sure you’re doing it the right way.
Is an art to lock it well.
If you read the manual it helps.
It goes up reasonably fast and when it gets as high as its going to get, throw the boom stick forward as is coming up.
If it has a leak so bad it won’t make it up, swing it over to the side an use an out rigger pad and hold out rigger up along with boom stick.
Hope this helps, we’ve all been there.
