Hello All,
I have a Case 580 Super K and the fuse for the hazard/directional lights keeps blowing out. This seems to happen very randomly, sometimes it will go for a while without issue and sometimes it blows out right away. Replaced the directional lever since at first it seemed that was causing the fuse issue, but the problem is still happening. Had the relay for the hazard/directional lights disconnected at one point and the fuse blew out then as well. Have tried disconnecting other switches but cannot seem to find a pattern to why or when it blows out. Did not find any obvious issues with the wiring or any of the light fixtures.
I know the alternator exciter circuit runs through this fuse as well because the alternator will stop charging when this fuse blows out. I'm wondering if the alternator could somehow be causing this fuse to blow out? Any help is greatly appreciated.
