Good afternoon everyone, I have a mid 1980s case 580k backhoe phase 3 with the 4 speed shifter. I have been trying to get the clutch cutout working for months but have not fixed it. I narrowed it down to when the neutral safety switch is plugged in and in neutral it shorts the system out when I push the button. When I have the forward reverse shifter in either forward or reverse it won’t work but it won’t blow the fuse when I push the button. So when the neutral safety switch is plugged in it shorts out. I’m not sure how this is supposed to work but it seems like this shouldn’t be doing this. Any help would be appreciated. I can go more into depth on wire colors I’ve metered and so on but I’ll keep it short for now. Thank you.
