Has anyone ever tried sourcing replacement hosed locally at an auto parts store? I was looking to find some replacement hoses without having to wait X number of days for freight etc. Any info would be appreciated. There are some numbers on my stock hose that seem to be Gates ref. but there is no crossing refference information available.

Case Part Numbers for the upper hose:

#223780A3 Product replaces 223780A2 231896A1

Description: LARGE HOSE,45.00 mm ID x 263.00 mm, SAE J20 20R4 Class C OR SAE 20R4 Class D-1 or D-2

Case Part Numbers for the Lower hose:

#231897A1

Description: RADIATOR HOSE,58.00 mm ID x 156.00 mm

The number on my upper hose reads: 09B16YTG EBP 80MH75

As far as I know they are purpose built hoses. I have not seen any aftermarket or will fits. The one thing that you can do in a pinch is use 2 hoses and cut and join with a piece of exhaust tubing. Basically build a hose to fit. It's not ideal as there is another joint to leak. We have done this many times on re power projects or obsolete hoses. Go into the back of the auto parts store and find hoses that have one end the right size and shape. Cut and splice.
