We have a CAT267 Skid Steer. The issues started a few weeks ago. It was being used and after about an hour is shut off, checked all fluids and duel. Everything looked good. It started back up and ran for 30 more minutes, then died. Let it sit for a day and came back and it fired up fine and ran for awhile (2 hours) and died again. It wouldn't start after that. It starts for maybe a second and dies out. Tried bleeding the fuel system, replaced filters. flow seems normal. It has a fuel shut off solenoid and I suspect its bad and causing the problem. I'm not entirely sure though. Any information would be greatly appreciated. The only info center it has is just a display in the upper left corner of the cab that has warning lights. No lights are illuminated when it stalls. Not sure if it stores coded or how to pull them. stumped.

The gurus here will likely ask for the machine serial number, get that information and post it.

It certainly sounds like a fuel problem and I'd be looking at the fuel pickup tube for clogging or if you suspect the solenoid start with electrical testing of power to the solenoid and whether it activates. I don't know the machine specifically but we do have some Cat specialists here who might be able to help you zero in on it better.

G..G..G..Granville.........!! Fetch your cloth.

It does store Codes but unfortunately it requires Cat ET diagnostic software to access them. They can't be seen from the in-cab display.

If it starts at all, even for a second, it's not likely to be a problem with the stop solenoid IMO.

Have you tried removing the fuel tank cap to see if that makes any difference.?

My next suggestion would be to remove the fuel filter #13, then remove the filter head assembly from the machine. There are 5 passages, 2 of which have blank plugs. Remove all the plugs & fittings and then either poke some wire in or blow through each port to make sure nothing is blocking any of the internal passages in the filter head. While you're in that area remove the line between the tank and the fuel transfer pump (the arrowed port on Ref #15 on illustration) and blow that line backwards in the direction of the tank with compressed air.

Everything heymccall explained in the other filter housing thread is the first thing to check here.

Could you post the injection pump model or a picture? that would help some of us guess better if there could be an injection pump issue. A solenoid causing this issue would be rare, if you can reach it, you can check for voltage when you first start it, and then after it stalls, then disconnect the wiring and check for ohms after it stalls, and before you start it if you need to know which wire and what the reading will be.

Waxing/gelling or ice wouldn't be the first thing I'd think since it ran 1.5 hours and 2 hours and still died. But what fuel do you have in it? have you checked the tank drain and water separator for water? Was the first time it stalled also the first time you've used it in the cold, or have you been using it regularly in the cold before it snowed?

It has been regularly used in winter. I checked the solenoid and gas. Both fuel filters were replaced. I found the culprit. It was a corroded connector in the fuse box. cleaned it up and bit and got it working, but still will need to replace it. Thanks for the help.
