G..G..G..Granville.........!! Fetch your cloth.
I also found the pictured sensor unplugged. I assume that is an air intake temperature sensor and likely doesn't have much impact on this issue as there are no related codes.
It's actually an inlet pressure switch that trips an alarm for a plugged air filter indication once the deltaP exceeds a certain level. You should be able to confirm by looking for "430" stamped on the outside of the insulation on the Blue wire.

So last weekend I got the DPF out. Took it apart for cleaning and it was PACKED with ash. blew it out with an air compressor for around 30 minutes then pressure washed it with a hot washer until my water ran clear. I cannot believe how much ash was in that DPF and DOC. once done i let it dry under a fan for 24 hours. Reinstalled and reset my Soot levels. Ran the machine for a few hours and it never even tried to regen once. Safe to say that my problem is fixed. As a reference after 3 hours of run time at idle my differential pressure was 0.2 psi and the soot mass was 4g and soot mass #1 was 10g. Way better numbers than i was getting after 15 minutes of runtime. Thank you for everyone's help! I will be making a post about my experience removing the DPF with the cab and motor in place.
