the 289C looks like a great machine. I have been looking for a new machine for a while now and have been interested in teh 289/299's. how has it been treating you?

i bought a new 289c, runs good but has a few drawbacks which a high dollar machine should not have. like if you load concrete or loose objects on a high truck the tractor will rock forward and back, visibility on the sides and rear is poor, have had track fall off, uses a lot of fuel in heavy apllications(worth it for the power) does not have the break out force for when loading bucket or digging, for vertical lift machine it still needs a couple of inches, door is hard to close and not able to open unless bucket is totally on the ground which everyone knows you have to get out and adjust, fix or remove things
