Cat 289d3 high flow?

Can anyone with cat sis run this serial number to see if this cat 289d3 has high or what options it does have? Thanks in advance #CAT0289JJX911759

Nige, what is it that you look for on the build codes to tell if the machine is high flow? When I run my serial JX906827 I see nothing about the hydraulic package. Machine has the original decals on it that say high flow xps.

It’s not exactly intuitive. It all relies on knowing that a High Flow machine has 2 implement pumps; a variable displacement piston-type pump backed up by a fixed-displacement gear pump. In comparison a non-HF machine only has a single (although larger) gear pump.

So if you look at the as-built machine consist the top line is 588-9190 “Distribution Arrangement”.
You will find that arrangement includes a 588-9134 Configuration Arrgt.
Dig into that group and you will find 512-4319 Hydraulic Arrgt.
In that group you will find 433-4172 “Pump & Mtg Gp - Work Tool” which clearly shows a piston-type pump backed up by a gear pump. Ergo the machine is High Flow. Simples……..
