Hi,

I am new here. Outside temp 80, flat ground conditions. Running for maybe an hour. Code appeared. Anyone familiar with this issue. When I went to board to get the code I noticed the other red code. Any help is very appreciated. Thank you

Hello and welcome.

Please note that you posted in the wrong section, this one is for full size steel track loaders. Your machine comes under the Compact Equipment "CTL/MTL" section. Don't worry though, I will ask for it to be moved to the right place. More people will see it there.

653-3 is a problem with the injector on #3 cylinder. 1239-1 may well be as a result of the 653-3 because the EGR system shuts down. Did the engine start to vibrate or go into a derate condition when the 653-3 popped up.?

Also please can you post a Serial Number. It makes finding technical information far easier.

Hi Nige. My apologies on wrong area. And thank you for fixing that. I turned it off once code popped. I just fired it back up. It’s definitely acting funny. Inconsistent vibration. Like a sputter happening. Make sense? Thank you so much for your help

i have a idea these harnesses would break a wire in the harness close to the injector plug there is a pig tail fron Cat once you have trouble shot it. you could unplug the closest injector with it not running...its 120v see if that injector comes to life it will run badly!! and DONT leave it run more than a few seconds! if that cylinder comes to life it takes the possibility of a bad injector out of the picture after that your into pretty well having access to SIS web unless your lucky and find a obvious rub/chaff in the harness during you visual checks. sis will give you really good schematics and the "wiggle" test that is really helpful. now if you do have a bad injector you will also need SIS as the injectors have a code on them the old one will have to be replaced with the new injector trim code....tip record the trim code before installing it!! sometimes they are on the box sometimes just on the injector which will be hard to see if installed. now after that a fuel calibration is in order! SIS web and A comm adaptor needed

poor fuel quality is usually what takes out injectors on these hi pressure rail engines
