Hello, I'm part of a small company and we are looking at purchasing a new asphalt paver and have narrowed it down to the two. Any info or pros and cons of the two would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Don't know anything about the Roadtec. A customer of mine has a 555E and the only issues it has had have been with the generator and the screed heating elements.

We get great support from roadtec with our transfer vehicle, but no experience with their spreaders. Our owners stick with cedar rapids or terrex now for highway stuff and a leeboy for private.

We have 3 - 1055’s, a 655, a 195e and a 175e. We were solid cat guys and drank the koolaid then we bought a Roadtec. Great machine, great parts department and the guardian system is awesome. Roadtec builds solid machines. DA385588-EB81-4DAE-832E-7EAF03AFA78E.jpeg

The new f series cat pavers are a very nice machine I must say. The quick change heating element and screed plate system is much better than the road tec setup if u already have access to cat et and sis that's a huge asset to reducing down time.if you do not than the Guardian system is great....especially when they use it to find out they ran out of fuel.where I work we have cat and road tec machines and the road tec breaks alot but in my opinion it' a bit of a lemon they happen. Got a rx 900 grinder and it's awsome
