Thanks for posting the link, this project is North East 6 or 7 hrs of me. I wondered how they were going to 4 lane this part of the highway now I know why it cost boat loads of money.

A friend in Arizona sent this pic he took today, a large plant going up, something to do with computer chips, near PView attachment 251031
hoenix.

That's Taiwan semi conductor that project is huge last I heard there were like 15 cranes 2 batch plants and about 5000 people there pretty much 6 days a week

If they build out that place in one go it will take like 8 years to build it all

Never underestimate how big $$ can compress a schedule - the more insane the money is the quicker the timeline is.

Well there original time line was 5 years they have been at over a year and a half my bet is 10 to build it out completely there are 6 fabs on the campus

There putting up close to 20 buildings at one time the biggest thing that will slow them down is a water treatment plant the growth in this valley is outpacing utility support but all the big data centers and chip plants have a water plant to be able to operate

Nice thing is fabs can recycle most or all their water. Intel ready recycles most of theirs at Ocotillo, they broke ground on fabs 52 and 62 out there late September too.

Good to see this type of manufacturing being built in the US regardless of timeline.
