One of the few times I ever got away from the farm as a kid, my dad took me to the
1968 Atomic Cup on the Columbia River in the Tri Cities. Miss Eagle Electric powered
by a Rolls Merlin-won that year. At the time I didn't know what I was hearing but the
Eagle was along side the Bud, then the Eagle exhaust made a change in pitch as he
hit the Nitrous Oxide button for the Win.
