D4D 78A final drive nut torque spec

Don't know which nut you call the main nut A, but the outside hex nut is 300-400 lb. ft.and the slotted adjuster nut is 900-1200 lb. ft.

Aw yes perfect that's exactly what i am referring too Bob. I can easily access the outside hex nut and have a torque wrench for that one. Its just that i notice some pins on it, do these have to be removed in order to torque the hex nut? Left handed thread right?

How do you access the slotted adjuster nut? Remove the final drive shield. The slotted nut is left handed? Don't have a torque wrench that goes that high.
