D5N xl ser#agg01698.......The Gear light is flashing but no active code. I changed the transmission temperature sensor and wiring harness and all the trouble lights went away for a while. Now light is coming on part of the time. Cat mechanic had cleared all the inactive codes but now have a inactive code. Can the gear light itself be acting up without anything being wrong?

Torque converter speed sensor signal erratic, intermittent, or incorrect.
See attached troubleshooting. An electrical schematic would probably be useful. If you don't have one please ask.
