Been there. Tried and tried to dig myself out. Ended up throwing a track and had to call a wrecker to come pull me out.

soupy sand with no bottom..we had a guy on a kobelco that dug out my counterweight and my tracks were needed and then i walked out,flagged down the water truck,got a bath and back to work....with my head hangin low
