Gramercy Group Inc., out of Westbury , NY is the demolition and wrecking contractor for Giants Stadium at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in New Jersey.

Using a traditional pull down method they bring down upper deck sections 306-308 at Giants Stadium on April 27th, 2010. This is their 6th pull-down of the seating sections putting them at about 1/3 done and on-schedule for demolition completion.

Video shows prep work and the demolition process used to pull down this 15 story section just 30-yards from the new stadium.

See upper deck, end zone, on the field, and an operators view of the superstructure being pulled down for dismantling and processing.

Always fun to watch something big fall over. Great camera work as usual. What were all the sparks from when the top part hit the ground, metal breaking?

Better to fall over than fall on, we smashed the right side ,boom and stick of a Hitachi 400 on the job, at least the boss was running it, 100ton heat exchanger landed on it. The offside legs were rusted off the mountings, bad day.
