Hello all. Thanks for adding me!! This backhoe belonged to my father in law and now is mine. It is rough around the edges, but always got the job done until recently. It seems like there is something wrong with either the transmission or the shuttle shift. It won’t stay in gear and will grind terribly when attempting to put into gear. It shifts easily when shut off. Pulled the top cover off and the bearings and gears look ok. No visible wear or damage. Any guidance on what to check is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
