Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years as a construction heavy equipment operator resulting in the demonstrable ability to operate a wide range of equipment at an expert level. Willingness to travel 30% of the time or more. Ability and willingness to speak in public are essential. Spanish language capability is a definite plus. Willingness to relocate in 3 - 5 years if necessary.
Job Description:
Product Demonstrator/Instructor - provide world class product demonstration and operator application training on all Caterpillar products - both at Tinaja Hills and the customer's site - to support the sale of Caterpillar products worldwide. Additional responsibilities include: cultivation of relationships with Caterpillar business units, maintain current knowledge of existing products and new product introductions, timely and relevant machine evaluation feedback to NPI teams, recommendations regarding fleet models and configurations, completion of machine work orders to assist in fleet service planning, basic maintenance of fleet equipment(cleaning and monthly reporting), assistance in training of peers on Caterpillar products/machine application, and operation of machine performance and evaluation studies (scale truck).
