the truck is totaled, i would have been a little more careful with the dump body, they might have been able to at least sell or re-use that before the loader got a hold of it

I was on a job where a brand new semi dump laid over on it's side when the trench caved in under it. Soft, easy landing, no damage. The foreman was in a big hurry, he couldn't wait for the heavy duty wrecker guys with the airbags who could have righted it w/ out damage. Nope, he had the Cat 245 excavator pull it upright with the bucket. It was a toss up to fix it or total it:(. And the foreman kept his job. (I'd have fired him - more than once over the years. He cost that company so much money I swore he was the owner's illegitimate son.)

it makes me sick to see someone try to do this, in this manner. It shows lack of respect for other peoples equipment. He could have done a better job of setting it back on the truck.

The driver should have know better than to dump there, but the loader operator could have been a bit more careful.

Well it is great to see that they got it oof of it's side, but how is it going to go anywhere after all of the snap, crackel, and popping that it made. It sounded like the frame and axels might be done for.
