Hello,
Im new to this forum, so I did a search before I posted this question but could not find any answers?
My father and I have an older Cat 966 I believe its from the mid 60's. Great machine and very well kept. We use it for plowing in the winter.
Last season the heater unit in the cab went so we replaced it. The heat was great until recently. We replaced the thermostat, checked the valves of the two lines that are hooked up one the the engine and two to the radiator. When the machine warms up and the heater is put on only one of the two lines that enter the heater heats up, the bottom one? So yesterday we had the water pump rebuilt and installed it. Still no heat?
Anyone have any idea on what it could be???
thanks in advance
Peter
