Hitachi EX100-3 slow hydraulics

The hydraulic functions in this machine operate fair when cold but slow down dramatically as the system warms up. If this happens there's a reference in the operators manual to rotating the lower cover on the hydraulic pump and setting the Pump Swash Angle. I've attached the pages from the manual. Can somebody explain the significance of this and what it will accomplish?

That's not for your situation. That is to bypass the controller functions so a problem machine can be moved out of the way, not for normal digging operations.
