How many have run into the loose transmission ?

On the D7's up 1960's to end Cat dozers? I've seen it many times.

Wow no others ? Cat even had special tooling for units that had this problem.

Cat D9H years ago used to come loose.
I don’t think it ever had the crown wheel and pinion set right or cross shaft.
They seemed happy to keep putting transmissions back into it though
