just google images of trailer ramps, there's plenty of designs that go under the hing pin so the ramp won't push out under weight. You'll have to lower the ramps, back up, load, pull forward, raise ramps, but it beats the alternative.Hadn't thought about breaking the dovetail weld... that would suck. Now that I'm thinking about it, if i welded an extension onto the stand which went past the hinge, the ramps couldn't rotate up. What ya'll think?
Trailer brakes are electric. Not sure how long they can stand it if you sprag the controller instead of the tires.
