How long would it have taken to put at least 4 chains on so they would not have to figure out how to pick it back up from the side of the road.
So lucky it did not land on someone.
Even a little effort will keep something from sliding in common cases. As for me, I want my load tied down so that even if I have to leave the road at speed, it stays where I put it. I don't plan on running off of the road, but I will not hesitate to do so to avoid an accident, and I don't want to worry about whether my load stays put. If it is tied down that good, normal driving is no worry at all.
