My 9 wheel roller stopped steering kinda suddenly and I can't figure out why. It never did seem to steer real well, you kinda had to keep turning the steering wheel whichever way you wanted to go to get it to go that way.

I replaced the steering valve under the steering wheel about 4 years ago cause it was leaking like a sieve. This is about an early 70s machine.

I checked the screen in the steering pump reservoir and it was plugged up with some crusty stuff like paint chips or something. Anyway, I cleaned it out real good and loosened the line at the cylinder and I'm getting pressurized fluid there.

Just wondering if the steering cylinder is the culprit.
