We are working with a 1999 JCB 407 that was purchased used. A few weeks ago, we replaced the alternator, starter and battery because we were having constant starting and charging issues. Measuring voltages at battery, never increased when running... if anything slowly decreased.

Since then, everything has been working fine. Yesterday we started up the unit and the CHARGE and both WARNING (triangle with exclamation point) lit up... but this time, no buzzer (the buzzer does work properly... sounds for parking brake as well). Checking battery voltages, the alternator is putting out power properly... voltages in the 13v+ range. If we rev up the engine, those numbers increase.

But.... those three indicators are still illuminated although dimly. Never had that before, usually, they are off when running.

Suggestions as to what to look for?

Thanks

Peter
