JD 490E Test Harness Problem

Yesterday I tried to set the DP sensor and angle sensor on my 490E. I could not get a reasonable reading on either of them and they are both new. I kept getting very low voltage readings on both while using my JD test harness and multimeter, so I gave up and just moved it under limp mode. After thinking about it over night, both setting attempts had the test harness in common, so today I checked the harness and found the leads came from the factory with bullet connectors inserted into each end where the voltages are read. I had been putting the multi meter probes into those connectors, which are two pieces of aluminum held together only by ridges on one part. The pressure of the inserted probes spread the outer sleeve and cause internal separation of the bullet connectors. On my red lead the two parts of the connector had come completely apart inside the connector, hence the wonky low voltage readings. Wonky readings have plagued me for awhile using that test harness. My thoughts were others may have a similar problem and therefore wanted to share my findings.
