Hello,
We've had the dealer out numerous times and spent thousands trying to fix this. Any help is appreciated.
John Deere 644H - Before Deere service came out the loader would run fine for about the first 30min to an hour then would kick into neutral and throw a trans fault. You had to turn the engine off and back on to reset and go until it did it again. This was becoming more frequent. Also when you put it in forward 2nd gear the dash would say F4 and as you push on the throttle it would roughly shift from 4th to 2nd from a stop. Loader had faults saying "Open Circuit" for all solenoids.
Now after Deere came out they have replaced the TCU, FNR with Jumper Wire, Shift Solenoid harness and gaskets and verified harness running up to TCU is good. Tractor runs slightly different, it does not kick into neutral anymore. Runs normal for awhile (30-60min) and then will stop shifting into 3rd and 4th gear and only has 1st and 2nd. But no Trans Fault codes.
Could this be a speed senor? Or any other thoughts?
