Where does the 15 series tractor stand in the lineup (prior to the new '09 model numbers). It seems to be a larger framed tractor than the 20 series in the 80-120 hp range.

Any good or bad about the 15's (ie 6615, 6715, etc).

And finally, what is JD's power quad tranny? Is this the 4 ranges with 4 speeds in each range with the pushbotton? Or is is the non-synchro'd 3 range with 4 speeds each? Or another?

Thanks!

Power quad was 4 power shift speeds with 4 ranges. They have a few versions, the newest being the power quad plus. The newest one has a reverser lever for direction.

They also offer AutoQuad that has 5 and 6 speeds per range depending on the model.
