Komatsu hydraulic oil?

What flavor hydraulic oil are you using? According to our dealer, Shell is supplying their oil.

We've been using DA Lubricants, but the oil sample reports are returning warning of low viscosity

Hitachi claims zinc = bad, so dunno. Only found that out years later, never had an issue.

Before I got into the lube industry for work, that's all I did. Same with grease.
Used "303" oil from Wallmart for years.

So 25+ years of vehicles and equipment got that treatment and no failures due to lube. Makes a person wonder.
