Hey.
i recently got this machine (probably 1997 model). It is a rather beaten up machine but i hope to get a few hours out of it before it turns to rust completely.
the issue i have, is that, from what i have been told, there should be a filter in the hydraulic tank. But i cant see anything in there when i unscrew the cap.
shouldnt there be a column thing right beneath the cap?
does anyone have pictures or a link to what it is supposed to look like?
also there is a small vent on top of the tank, and during work it spatters oil out even if the tank is not overfilled.
i’ll appreciate any good suggestions on how to fix this.
