Large wheel loader models in the oldest from the first models to today old brands new models
Hi, rhetorical question, what are the brands and models of large wheel loaders ever built from the beginning to today, besides Caterpillar and Komatsu, old extinct brands like Clark Michigan Dresser and the others. Thanks.

Old man we rented laydown yard space from north of Fairbanks when I worked up there five years ago had two of these old 988A’s that he ran most every day. One with a bucket and one with forks. He snaked that 40’ connex through the trees a couple miles down to the gas station he owned. Kicking up dust the whole way too.

my dad bought a 545 allis chalmers in 70, traded for a 545-b fiat allis in 74. loved them both. for underground contractor, the forward bucket curl was amazing and great for project cleanup...the extra 10 degrees articulation made it nice having to backfill on narrow streets, etc.

Trojan loaders, made in Batavia, NY. Originally spun out of Yale & Towne Manufacturing Company which eventually became Eaton Yale & Towne after Eaton (yes that one) bought Yale & Towne in the 60s

I know of a 164 and a 304 that are in daily use, have done some work on them. Non articulating, steer axles in rear. Detroits
