lull 1044c-54 with a john deere 4045tf275 engine.
lull starts with no problem or hesitation but after about half a minute engine turns off as if you have turned the switch off, there is no warning or indication of the engine is going to turn off.
if you go to start the engine right away it will just turn but won't start but if you wait for a minute engine turns on like normal.
what should I look at? where is the fuel shut-off solenoid located?

Classic governor flex ring coming apart if this is a stanadyne pump from before 2000?. Pull the return fitting off the top of the pump, you should be able to see the fuel inside the pump, clean that fitting out, it might be a glass ball that you can see through, but still be jammed with "mouse turds". If it runs fine, you'll eventually need the pump rebuilt, if it starts surging, shut it off before it runs away and goes boom.

Stanadyne DE10 pump. Need to get codes. Does that unit have a diagnostic display unit on it somewhere?
