I am looking for someone to assist me in fixing my 74 Ford L9000 Triaxle. It has an 8v71 in it. Any mechanic laid off or looking for weekend work let me know.

Truck needs a starter and its burning anitfreeze need to run some tests see what it is.

i've rebuilt a few 71 and 53 series engines, if it's burning antifreeze, and you've checked the heads for cracks, I would guess it's either some bad O rings between the block and head, or cylinder liner O rings..at least that is where I would start..
