Collecting models is great fun, the fun I find is getting a bargin, if you are patient the bargins do pop up, DHSDIECAST is also a very good site for all you model needs, I have about 40 odd diecast models and yes it helps very much to have an understanding partner!! Ebay is a good place to buy but you have to do a bit of research and compare prices etc, just like anything you buy, I buy a bit from an Ebay store called WEDOTOYS he has been great I live in AUS and have never had a problem

My closest dealer is an hour away. :(

Mine is 5 hours away. i don't think that they sell die-casts.

What about a backhoe?

I have a Cat 420D IT and a Volvo BL 71, and they both work like trojans, but the Volvo has an issue with the extendahoe. We also have bell Hd820E III, a Cat 725, Volvo G720, michigan L320, Akerman EC360 and a Bell L2706D, but I have a few 1:87 as well.

I wanted one but the center pivot was backordered and I don't like side shifts.

This is the new 420E.

Came with Pallet Forks, 4 in 1 bucket, Auger, Hammer.

It is nice, the front tires don't turn so it is hard to steer.

nice backhoe!

Thanks

But now I need help, there is a drawbar lock on my D11, the box says it can raise lower and tilt, it can tilt but the right drawbar can't raise or lower because of this bar. And it doesn't just slide out, I have tried everything, screw driver, knife...

I have that same thing on my D9T...what the heck is the purpose of that? Mine seems to work fine anyway, it will still lift the tractor off the ground.

d11 problem

i had the same problem with my d11r :pointhead.so i ended up unscrewing the screws underneath it and just taking it out. it solved the problem and works alot better now. it just sits in there and really doesent help much at all. but im sure there is a way to fix it without dissecting it. althought you really cant tell the difference detail wise it works alot better.later ill have to get some pics up of it to help you out. hope this helps- oakland;)

I don't see any screws, just rivets.

About cutting it, what did you use, I don't think any metal saw I have would fit in there.

Hmm, I'd rather not, I can take things apart but can't put them back together... :p

I might try cutting it with something.

i totally understand im the exact same way. i have no other advice now:p:D

And now that my ISP got their servers back up.

Here is my Hitachi Zaxis 200 digging a trench, and the new loader on the site, the 924G back filling.

I am getting tired, off to dream about the future (when I am 25ish) driving one of these beasts.. :usa

i used a hacksaw blade

Hmm, I bet my grandpa has something in his shop that can cut it. I could always just take a drill, drill a hole in it and snap it.

Because of the limit of images per post.

Here the 924G is helping the 420E get its auger on to drill some holes for a column.

Well, nice to see you got one. I never really realized how different it is to the D series. They have the same buckets though. Why doesn't yours have the new decals an' all.
