Might be able to use the bucket teeth as a rake to clear away the bigger rocks. Be extra careful not to dig in where the machine has to push hard and don't dump the bucket all the way down. You can also put the lift arms in float position and back blade with the teeth. I'd try with the bucket at different angles to see what works best.
