Just got this 650 for the farm and saw an oil leak it is next to the oil filter on a tube leading back to engine. Is this a hard fix? Any ideas would be great. Family 2jdx06,8014. Model 4045tt066. I will try to post a photo. Thanks.image.jpg

Hello,

Should just be an oring! Pull off the oil filter housing, and then wiggle the tube out. There will be a couple of landings on the tube, with an oring in between. Replace that, and you should be set. Might want to check the oil pressure/blowby, and make sure its normal. Its a good thing to check any time your engine leaks.

Just remember there are o rings on the top and bottom off each pipe so make sure you get 4! We check blowby slightly old fashioned. We have a clear tube maybe 3 foot long that's stapled to a 1 by board filled up with water/windex(easier to watch the line) slide like a 3/8 heater hose over dipstick tube to connect dipstick and clear tube. Mark the water level on tube at idle, go to full throttle and stall a function. If total movement is over 2 inches it has too much blowby.
