hydraulics drive a winch drum behind the seat. note tank and pipes on rh side another pic shows a hydraulic control valve to change drum direction

Man, wouldn't want to have to load wet clay, topsoil, or boulders into a truck with that thing.

Can you hear the bang of a boulder rolling down the pan and slamming into the bed of the truck. Worse yet, you were not quite back far enough, rock hits side of truck and bounces back at you...

Look how far machinery has come. Now days we complain if the seat doesn't adjust right, the levers are too long, or the ac is too cold....
