Seems dumb to think that bridge would hold a scraper.
I'm pretty sure that was in New Brunswick. We still have a few covered bridges and that one had a weight capacity that was obviously ignored.
I remember that.I looked again for pictures of the Little Naches River bridge that was taken down by a D7 on a lowboy in 1979.
No luck.
OMG, no thanks! Question, do you 'spose that happens fast enough that you feel that weightless stomach drop sensation?Follow up….

It's things like that above---how do these folks pass a test. Last week I'm in the shop about 9:30 am,nother over-height load yesterday in Kelowna. Stick not tucked in, boom not lowered. Yanmar 100, less than a km from dealers location.
Has their decals…Is that the dealer's truck???
With a driver like that I would strip off any identifying marks I could. Not very good advertising.. Cheaper yet, just take him out back and shoot him.Has their decals…
4” bonus for sure, nice way to load quick & know your exact height/positioning each time.I was under 13'2" on the old wood deck. When that wood went to heck 18 years ago, I welded up this stick catcher and got another 4".

At least it wasn't a bridge and the excavator doesn't look to have received much damage. I'm not sure if a mini-ex can pull the stick in towards the cab and fold the boom to be the height of the cab. I would guess they can. Somebody or some people not paying much attention to how high the machine was.Another over-height load yesterday in Kelowna. Stick not tucked in, boom not lowered.
