pc75uu-2 swing gear oil question

Hi everyone, I hope someone can shed some light on this. The manual is not super clear, but I assume that the zig/zag shaped dip stick right behind the boom is where the SAE30 oil goes for the swing gear,. I can't really tell from the stick what full is. The oil is so thin is doesn't really show on the stick. Every time I add oil to it I get foamed up oil coming out around the slew ring. Is there a vent that this would be coming out of it it was over filled or is that an indication that it's leaking all the oil out? The machine seems to be working fine.
