6x the price of an ArcDroid. I could buy a Miller Airpak to run my plasma and an ArcDroid and have money left over. I've seen oxy-fuel machine torches on ArcDroids, but they don't have integrated oxy-fuel controls.

Good to hear.
As far as integrated controls for oxy, I've not seen much in the way of integration.
My table you switch to Oxy, and go light the torch and adjust the valves on the torch.
As far as timing the preheat, while some controls have it (mine does as well, i just leave the timer set to something way too long like 10 minutes)
I have not seen anyone use time for preheat, rather judging by eye (look for the sparkles) as to when to hit the blow and start moving.
Even the large industrial 30' wide by 120' long tables running 5-8 torches with modern CNC controls, they still rely upon the operator to time preheat until ready.
Main point is that Oxy cutting is not a problem, a simple set-up for the arc droid or whatever is all you need. While it's not "push go button and walk away" like plasma, a little skill & care is involved, but it's not bad.
My first CNC table I cobbled up, I used the 2 hose torch from my track burner.
Took a 4' piece of 1" pvc pipe and carved a notch in the end to engage the butterfly valve, so I could reach it anywhere.
Turn blow on, reach down and hit move on controller.
Simple and it works.
