A (NON, yes NOT BARBED) 1/8 male ntp smooth 5/16th nipple for fuel line. No have not tried NAPA yet.
Don't need to have to deal with trying to get a rubber or what ever its made from, off a barbed fitting, how come that is all that shows up?
For air yes, not for a carburetor fuel line. GEEEEE
Smooth with a bulb at the end is what used to be the norm.

A couple other options for no barb, no bulb if you're pulling it off a lot.

Use a 5/16" tubing swage-lock to 1/8" NPT and put whatever stub length of stainless or copper tubing you want as your connection.

So if you want really simple:

Good finds and thanks a bunch.

And likely, some times the good price is ruined by the shipping costs.

The days of walking in a parts store independent or corporate and finding carb parts is
pretty much gone. Parts stores years ago kept assortment boxes of carb linkage clips,
mounts you name it, but carbs are a thing of the past like most things. In the early 80's
a parts store was likely to have dam near everything to re-ring/re-bearing a american
built engine, some even carried crank kits. Those days of stores being complete are
history. Can have it by Thursday.

Let’s see, 3 hours making a 3 dollar part, especially if you’re really slow on a lathe. Or running around town, trying 5 different parts places, with fuel prices the way they are.
Or finding what you want, for 3 bucks and free shipping from Amazon, if you can get it there and having it the next day.

That's why I own a lathe!
Yeah but still need to have a taper attachment, spend the time etc., purchase the over priced material etc etc. at least can cut off most all of the barbs on one that is over barbed.
Part looks simple, but still have to plan ways to hold it. Easy sure if you know how to do it. ;)

Yeah thats like paying $20.00 for it right? Unimat that can cut taper threads?

You can offset the tailstock to cut tapered threads. I have used the boring head from the mill in the lathe tailstock to cut tapered threads.

I'm pretty sure I have a 1/8" NPT and 1/4" NPT die nut somewhere. That is a way faster simpler way to go.

This is kinda funny, as I am simply disgusted with the lack of barbed fittings depth lately. It’s like the barbs are just barely there and I end up using pipe dope and offset double clamps, to get anything to seal good lately.
