Heres some I dug out of a box this morning and scaned. The 540 is a machine a buddy of mine and I bought with HUGE plans of becoming big time gypo loggers. Went well for about a year, then the market fell out and we didn't have much work. We sold out and went to work for wages. I took a job running a forwarder. The loader operator caught me walking to the landing to get a saw to cut off the high stump under the right rear thats about to flip me over.
After that I went to running the 527 for a while, then got outta the woods, and back into the dirt.

School, grd 10 now!
heres a couple of clark ranger machines

the 666c was the first c model sold into new zealand

the old treefarmer was traded on the 668b,the treefarmer was getting pretty run down but it was one of those "just keep it going untill the new one gets here" times

666c was trade on the 666f after 13 years faithful service...

can only rememeber a couple of names of these guys. The two guys to the left of the f100 are father and son Alan and Graham Cudby( ?), guy to the right of and leaning on the f100 is Terry Myhill.
This was Bob myhills old crop crew working for the forest service in Kiangaroa in about 1982-83

all hard and good honest men, I wish i had been older and known them better

Timberjack 360

Many proffesional loggers used line skidders in Norway in the late 60's, 70's and 80's, before the processors and forwarders took over the show. Here are 2 360's owned by a farmer in this district.
